What brought you to singing
I always liked the idea of singing but just didn’t have the confidence – I last sang in a choir in school - which wasn’t yesterday!. I’d always kept my music up (play Piano to Diploma level - but don’t practice nearly as much as I should). When I turned fifty, I thought now’s the time to try all those things you hung off about before – time for a challenge or two – so found the Kevock Choir (who I’d heard of but had never heard!) and gave it go! That was in 2015 and I’m still challenged – but in a good way – wish I’d done it years ago!
What attracted you to the Kevock Choir
Pure Chance -it was the local choir (was living in Lasswade then) – so decided to give it a go. Went along the first night and was amazed at the different sorts of music being rehearsed – first piece was really challenging – but stuck with it - a few months later when I heard the choir perform – was blown away and that was it!
